Redesigned Website Increases Search Engine Potential for BriteBox
09 March 2006
BriteBox, which supplies light boxes for people who use light therapy to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), asked us to help improve their website’s search engine ranking.
BriteBox currently uses AdWords, Google’s pay-per-click service, to attract visitors to its website facility - which is an effective, but costly, strategy.
To reduce its reliance on AdWords, we rebuilt the BriteBox website to ensure that its HTML code is better structured and more efficient. We were then able to complete our search engine optimisation work, which will encourage the site to attain a more prominent position in all the leading search engines (not just Google) for relevant keywords.
The advantages of ensuring that your website meets modern web standards and accessibility guidelines are discussed in our article Greatly Improve Your Website’s Success By Being Accessible.
